Abstract:
A control apparatus (10) for controlling a three-phase rotary machine (80) having two sets of three-phase windings (801, 802) is provided with: two power converters (601, 602) that output AC currents, which have amplitudes equal to each other and have a phase difference of (30±60×n) [deg], to the two sets of windings; a higher harmonic component generation unit (20) that superimposes a higher harmonic component on the phase-current primary component of a current command value; and two controllers (331, 332) that calculate voltage command values for the two power converters on the basis of the current command value. The combination of the amplitudes of phase-current fifth and seventh components for reducing the peak of the phase-current primary component is set as a basic amplitude. The higher harmonic component generation unit carries out a higher harmonic amplitude reduction process of reducing, on the basis of the basic amplitude, the phase-current peak reduction amount of the phase-current primary component and the absolute value of the amplitude of the higher harmonic component, according to prescribed parameters.
