Abstract:
The present invention achieves a configuration capable of quickly transmitting a large torque to wheels even if an internal combustion engine is started and an automatic transmission is shifted down, from a state in which the internal combustion engine is stopped and the torque of a dynamo-electric machine is transmitted to the wheels. An engagement device is engaged and the rotational speed (Neg) of the internal combustion engine is increased to a startable rotational speed (Nig). After the rotational speed (Neg) of the internal combustion engine has increased to the startable rotational speed (Nig), the internal combustion engine is ignited, and then the engagement device is disengaged. After the ignition of the internal combustion engine, the rotational speed (Neg) of the internal combustion engine is increased toward a synchronized rotational speed (Na) after downshift, by the torque (Teg) of the internal combustion engine, and the engagement device is disengaged. Then the rotational speed (Nin) of the dynamo-electric machine is increased toward the synchronized rotational speed (Na) and the automatic transmission is downshifted, and after completion of the downshift, the engagement device is engaged.
