Abstract:
A control box (1) for which a louvered window (4) for ventilation is provided on a side surface of a box body (8) housing a power control device (2) and a heater (3). The louvered window (4) is equipped with: plate members (7), the upper ends of which are rotatably attached to the side surface of the box body (8) and which are capable of covering/exposing ventilation holes (20) provided on the side surface; and retaining members, which normally hold the plate members (7) in the open state. When the plate members (7) receive more than a fixed amount of wind force from outside of the box body (8) the plate members close. For example, the retaining members are springs (9). Thus, the weather resistance of the power control device can be improved.
