Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a control cable that has an outer casing including a metal line extending to one end along an axial direction and that has an inner cable slidably inserted in the outer casing; and a metal cap that is mounted to the one end side of the outer casing. The outer casing has an end part provided to the one end side of the outer casing body. The metal cap has a housing part that houses therein the end part of the outer casing and an opening part through which the inner cable is drawn out. The end part of the outer casing has a deformed section in which the metal line is deformed on the radially outer side of the outer casing and a covering section with which the deformed section is covered. The covering section is formed from a hard member. The housing part has a separation suppression section that, by deforming radially inward and engaging with the covering section, suppresses separation of the metal cap in the axial direction. By using this control cable, slide of the inner cable in the outer casing is not inhibited and the cable is fixed easily and firmly, and thus separation of the outer casing from the metal cap can be prevented.
