Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a control cable supporting device which has excellent vibration isolation performance. The control cable supporting device is provided with a control cable, a casing cap, an elastic member having a flange part on the outer periphery thereof and attached to the outer periphery of the casing cap, and a socket, wherein: the flange part includes multiple axially protruding sections protruding in the axial direction of the elastic member and multiple recessed sections each formed between adjacent ones of the multiple axially protruding sections; the axially protruding sections include long protruding sections and short protruding sections having a less degree of protrusion than the long protruding sections; and the elastic member is housed in the socket such that the leading ends of the long protruding sections are deformed by being pressed against an end surface of the socket and such that, when an inner cable slides, the leading ends of the short protruding sections come into contact with the end surface of the socket in such a manner as to enable attenuation of vibration of the casing cap.
