Abstract:
This control cable (1) has an inner cable (2), an outer casing (3), a terminal member (4), and a metal cap (5), wherein: one end section (3a) of the outer casing (3) has an increased diameter section (34); the terminal member (4) has an engagement part (44) engaging with the increased diameter section (34), an outer casing fixing part (42), and a metal cap fixing part (43); the terminal member (4) has a different diameter part (431) provided at a position away from the one end section (3a) of the outer casing (3) in an X-axis direction; the metal cap (5) uses a control cable having a caulking fixing part (51) in which a portion overlapping a range including the different diameter part (431) of the terminal member (4) is fixed by decreasing the diameter thereof. Therefore, the metal cap (5) can suppress the end section of the outer casing from being deviated from the metal cap, and suppress degradation in the sliding property of the inner cable due to collapse of a shield layer of the end section of the outer casing.
