Abstract:
This charging/discharging control circuit of a battery device uses a discharging control switch element and a charging control switch element, which are connected between a secondary battery and a load or a charger, to control the charging and discharging of the secondary battery, which is connected between a positive electrode power source terminal and a negative electrode power source terminal. The charging/discharging control circuit comprises: a charger connection detection circuit that produces a charger connection detection signal on the basis of the voltage of an external negative electrode terminal that is connected to the charger; and a pull-up detection circuit that, on the basis of the voltage of the external negative electrode terminal, detects pull-down of the pull-up voltage of the voltage of the external negative electrode terminal, and produces a pull-up detection signal. Having received the pull-up detection signal and the charger connection detection signal after turning the discharging control switch element off, the charging/discharging control circuit turns the discharging control switch element on.
