Abstract:
An inverter (20) converts direct-current power into alternating-current power by operating PWM-controlled multiple switching components (21 through 26) and supplies the alternating-current power to an alternating-current motor (80). A feedback control operation section (40) of an inverter control unit (30) performs a control operation in each (N/2) period (N is a natural number) of a triangular wave carrier used for the PWM control by using current values Iv_smp, Iw_smp, which are acquired from current sensors (87, 88) for detecting a current flowing in the alternating-current motor (80), and a rotation angle θ of the alternating-current motor (80). During the acquisition of the current values detected by the current sensors (87, 88), a mean value acquisition part (50) calculates a mean value of current values in a half period of the carrier, that is, a period between a peak and a valley of the carrier, or acquires a current value at a timing at which an assumed mean value of the current values can be acquired.
