Abstract:
This belt-type continuously variable transmission (CVT) comprises: a belt (44) extended between a primary pulley (42) and a secondary pulley (43); and a CVT control unit (81) that controls the pulley hydraulic pressure to the primary pulley (42) and the secondary pulley (43). The CVT control unit (81) determines whether the travel state is a driving state in which the direction of an input torque which is input to the belt-type continuously variable transmission (CVT) is from the drive source (engine (1), motor generator (2)), or a coasting state in which the input torque direction is from the left and right front wheels (6, 6). If it is determined that the travel state is the coasting state, belt slippage is suppressed by setting the pulley hydraulic pressure for the input torque higher than the pulley hydraulic pressure for the input torque for when the travel state is the driving state.
