Provided is a control device for an opening/closing body for a vehicle, this control device being such that even if a variation occurs in the magnitude of an input voltage into a control means for controlling a motor, the motor causes the opening/closing body to make normal rotation at a constant speed, thereby permitting object-catching to be accurately detected. The aforementioned control device for the opening/closing body for the vehicle is provided with a PWM control means (37) for performing an operation wherein when the size of the aperture formed by the opening/closing body (15) with respect to an opening section (11) reaches a predetermined value, a pulsed output voltage generated on the basis of a duty ratio and of an input voltage supplied from a power supply (31) is applied to the motor (25), resulting in the motor being caused to make normal rotation; and an object-catching detection means (34) for performing an operation wherein a state where a foreign object is caught by the opening section and the opening/closing body is detected on the basis of the result of detection of the movement speed of the opening/closing body in the closing direction. Correlation data that represent the relationship between duty ratios and input voltage magnitudes at which the movement speed of the opening/closing body in the closing direction becomes constant are stored by a memory section (35) in advance. The PWM control means uses the aforementioned duty ratio in the aforementioned correlation data to generate an output voltage commensurate with the magnitude of the input voltage.
