Abstract:
If a subject is missing from an image, an AF region cannot be disabled until the subject is detected again in the image, and therefore AF processing takes time. Sometimes, AF processing is performed directly in an AF region in which there is no subject. Provided is a control device, which may comprise the following configuration for a circuit: deriving a value representing an in-focus state for each region among a plurality of regions within an image captured by a camera device, and performing focus control for the camera device on the basis of a value representing the closest in-focus state among a plurality of values.
