Abstract:
A control device including: a packet information holding unit that stores reception schedule information including information about a timing of receiving a packet, allowable latency, and burst length of each packet for a plurality of electronic control devices performing communication via a communication relay device having a predetermined size of buffer; a peak prediction unit that estimates, on the basis of the reception schedule information, a peak time where usage amount of the buffer exceeds a predetermined value; a delay packet selection unit that selects, on the basis of the reception schedule information, a delay target packet the reception of which is to be delayed among packets to be received at the peak time estimated by the peak prediction unit; a delay time determination unit that determines a delay time, which is a time to delay reception of the delay target packet selected by the delay packet selection unit, to be a value equal to or lower than the allowable latency; and a delay signal generation unit that transmits, to an electronic control device to transmit the delay target packet, a delay signal, which is an instruction to delay transmission of the delay target packet by the delay time.
