Abstract:
A control device for continuously variable transmission has a control means (30) that implements a low-return control, wherein the actual gear ratio of a continuously variable transmission (3) is controlled so as to shift to a low-side target gear ratio during deceleration of a vehicle (1), said low-return control being implemented by means of a feedback control that uses an integral operation amount. During low-return control, when the actual gear ratio reaches the target gear ratio the control means (30) restricts the integral operation amount such that the actual gear ratio is held at the target gear ratio, on the basis of the thrust balance. Thus, even when the vehicle (1) accelerates again during the low-return control using feedback control it is possible to prevent the actual gear ratio, for which the integral operation amount has been excessively integrated, from overshooting to the low side, and an appropriate thrust balance can be maintained.
