Abstract:
The disclosed control device makes use of phase differences between per-wheel drive motors, allowing a single rotating magnetic field to control each drive motor. Each wheel (1) is provided with a corresponding power-transmitting motor (2), a clutch (12) between the wheel (1) and the motor (2), and a current control means (9) that controls the flow of current to that motor (2). The disclosed control device is provided with a switching means (16) that can stop one current control means (9) from performing current control and allow another current control means (9) to control the current to each motor (2). Each clutch (12) is configured to block the transmission of torque when the switching means (16) is switched so as to have one current control means (9) perform current control for each motor (2).
