Abstract:
Disclosed is a control device in which the computation cycle for internal processing done by a voltage-control unit is optimized and the computational load involved in controlling an AC motor is reduced. Said control device uses vector control to control an electric motor drive device provided with a DC/AC converter that converts a DC voltage to an AC voltage and supplies said AC voltage to an AC motor. The control device is provided with a voltage-control unit that generates a control signal, for controlling the DC/AC converter, from a voltage command value for driving the AC motor. The voltage-control unit consists of a first voltage-control unit, which derives a modulation factor and a voltage command phase on the basis of the voltage command value and the actual DC voltage supplied to the DC/AC converter, and a second voltage-control unit, which generates a control signal on the basis of the modulation factor, the voltage command phase, and the positions of magnetic poles. The computation cycle (second computation cycle (T2)) for the first voltage-control unit is set to be longer than the computation cycle (first computation cycle (T1)) for the second voltage-control unit.
