Abstract:
This control device for an electric power steering device controls an inverter on the basis of a three-phase voltage command obtained in such a way that: three-phase current flowing through a synchronous motor is converted to d-axis current and q-axis current; proportional-integral control is performed on the deviation between a d-axis current command and the d-axis current, thereby calculating a d-axis voltage command; proportional-integral control is performed on the deviation between a q-axis current command and the q-axis current, thereby calculating a q-axis voltage command; and the d-axis voltage command and the q-axis voltage command are converted. When a q-axis proportional gain is denoted by Kpq, the time constant of a q-axis current control system is denoted by τq, a q-axis inductance or d-axis inductance is denoted by L, and a constant larger than 0 and less than 1 is denoted by Kq, the q-axis proportional gain is set according to the following equation, that is, Kpq = Kq/τq × L.
