Abstract:
Provided is a control device for an electric vehicle whereby a desired motor torque can be output on the occurrence of a problem with a traveling motor of the electric vehicle due to changes over time. This control device for an electric vehicle is equipped with: an electric control unit (ECU) (21); and inverter devices (22) each having a power circuit unit (28), including an inverter (31), and a motor control unit (29). In addition, rotation angle sensors (36) for detecting rotation angles of motors (6) are provided. Upon obtaining rotation angles of the rotors of the motors (6) from the rotation angle sensors (36), the motor control units (29) performs control in accordance with the obtained rotor rotation angles and in accordance with a torque command map (35) that defines the relationship between motor speed and torque. The motor control units (29) are each provided with a torque command map adjustment section (38) that adjusts the torque command map in accordance with a vehicle speed obtained from a vehicle speed detection means and a torque command from the ECU (21), said vehicle speed being calculated on the basis of the rotation angles detected by the rotation angle sensors (36).
