Abstract:
Provided is an elevator control device capable of further ensuring the safety of workers. The elevator control device comprises: a detection unit that detects the presence of a worker in the ceiling section of an elevator car; and a control unit that, when a worker has been detected by the detection unit, suppresses the ascent of the car by operating a device provided on the car side so that when the car has reached a preset position in the upper section of the elevator hoistway the car is in contact with a device provided on the hoistway side.
