Abstract:
A control device for an engine has an EGR device (10) that connects an exhaust path (Ex) and a suction path (I) of the engine (1) and in which an EGR valve (24) is installed, a suction throttle (41) that is installed in the suction path (I), travel history calculation means (A1) that accumulates at least either the travel distance of a vehicle or operation time of the engine, fuel injection control means (A2) that enables the amount of fuel injection and injection timing to be controlled, EGR control means (A3) that controls the degree of opening of an EGR valve, throttle control means (A4) that controls the degree of opening of the suction throttle, and control means (A5) that, when an accumulated value of the travel distance or engine operation time reaches a predetermined threshold value, delays fuel injection timing (Tn), increases the degree (βg) of opening of the EGR valve, and closes the degree (Ѳs) of opening of the suction throttle valve.
