Abstract:
This fluid discharge device is equipped with an impeller for causing a fluid to flow from an intake port to a discharge port, a DC motor for rotating the impeller, a housing for housing the impeller, and a DC motor control device. A discharge-changing member for changing the ease of flow of the fluid can be attached to and detached from the discharge port of the housing. The control device is equipped with a drive control unit for controlling the drive voltage supplied to the stator of the DC motor, a receiving unit for receiving a rotation speed signal indicating the rotation speed of the DC motor, and a determination unit for determining whether or not the ease of flow of the fluid through the discharge port has changed on the basis of the rotation speed signal. The drive control unit increases the drive voltage when the ease of flow of the fluid through the discharge port changes and the rotation speed increases. The drive control unit decreases the drive voltage when the ease of flow of the fluid through the discharge port changes and the rotation speed decreases.
