Abstract:
A control device for hybrid vehicles that has a variable compression ratio mechanism in which an engine compression ratio can be changed between a first compression ratio and a second compression ratio by the explosive force of an engine when an actuator is not driven, wherein the control device has a first step for stopping or decelerating the engine when a motor generator and the engine are being driven and the engine compression ratio is the second compression ratio, a second step for changing the engine compression ratio from the second compression ratio to the first compression ratio during or after the first step, and a third step for driving the engine after the second step.
