Abstract:
The control device 7 according to the present disclosure is for a hybrid vehicle 1 that performs series driving by driving a motor 4 in combination with power generated by a generator 3 coupled to an engine 2 and battery power stored in a battery 6, and comprises a setting unit 8 and a control unit 9. The setting unit 8 sets, as the maximum value of power that can be drawn from the battery 6, short-time battery output that is used for a short period of time less than or equal to a predetermined time, and long-time battery output that is smaller than the short-time battery output and can be used for more than the predetermined time. During the series driving, the control unit 9 controls the maximum output of the motor 4 using either the short-time battery output or the long-time battery output and the generated power. In addition, the control unit 9 reduces the maximum output of the motor 4 below the sum of the currently generated power and the short-time battery output before switching the battery output to be used from the short-time battery output to the long-time battery output. This improves the driving feeling.
