Abstract:
Provided is a control device for an internal combustion engine, which can correct the deviation of an output value from an in-cylinder pressure sensor, said deviation occurring for a predetermined period of time after abnormal combustion occurs. Output characteristics (60) before abnormal combustion, which represent the relationship between the in-cylinder pressure and the actual output value (sensor output value) of the in-cylinder pressure sensor (14) at a cycle before the occurrence of abnormal combustion (cycle before abnormal combustion), are stored in advance. An estimated in-cylinder pressure at a cycle after the occurrence of abnormal combustion (cycle after abnormal combustion) is obtained (S131, S134). Output characteristics (62) after abnormal combustion are calculated from the estimated in-cylinder pressure and the sensor output value at the cycle after abnormal combustion. The output difference (64) between the outputs of the in-cylinder pressure sensor (14) before and after the occurrence of abnormal combustion is calculated from the output characteristics (60) before abnormal combustion and the output characteristics (62) after abnormal combustion (S138). The sensor output value at the cycle after abnormal combustion is corrected using the output difference (64) (S140).
