Abstract:
When the vehicle is in a normal driving state or is gently accelerating, the degree of opening of an electric waste gate valve (31) is set such that the actual air flow volume is at a minimum. Then, feedback control is applied to the degree of opening of an electronic control throttle valve (21) so as to achieve the actual intake air amount which produces an engine (1) output torque that is in accordance with the engine load. When the degree of opening of the electronic throttle valve (21) is fully open, the degree of opening of the electronic throttle valve (21) is maintained, and feedback control is applied to the degree of opening of the electric waste gate valve (31) so as to achieve the actual intake air amount (that is, the target intake air amount) which produces an engine (1) output torque that is in accordance with the engine load.
