Abstract:
Provided is a control device of an internal combustion engine, said control device enabling a required air/fuel ratio to be satisfied with high accuracy. For each first period, a calculation unit calculates (500) the number of fuel injections within one combustion cycle and the fuel injection rate, which indicates the rate of fuel injections within one combustion cycle. With respect to the first period, a first storage unit stores (500) the number of fuel injections and the fuel injection rate calculated by the calculation unit. For each second period, which is different from the first period, a reference unit refers (506) to the number of fuel injections and the fuel injection rate stored by the first storage unit. A second storage unit stores (506), with respect to an interval from the start time of the first fuel injection (512) until the start time of the last fuel injection (513) of at least one combustion cycle, the number of fuel injections and the fuel injection rate referred to by the reference unit. A control unit controls a fuel injection valve in a manner such that fuel is injected in accordance with the number of fuel injections and the fuel injection rate stored by the second storage unit.
