Abstract:
This control device 500 of an internal combustion engine 10 is provided with: an acquisition unit 503 which acquires a required torque and the operational state of the internal combustion engine; and a control unit 501, P1 which controls the operation of the internal combustion engine by using a required amount of air, a required amount of fuel, and a required ignition timing. The control unit: acquires the required amount of air by using the target air-fuel ratio of an air system, which has been determined according to the required torque and the operational state which have been acquired; determines the target air-fuel ratio of an injection system by torque-changing and correcting the target air-fuel ratio of the air system so as to reduce the difference between the required torque and the actual torque in a transition period between stoic combustion and lean combustion; and acquires the required amount of fuel and the required ignition timing by using the target air-fuel ratio of the air system and the target air-fuel ratio of the injection system which have been determined.
