Abstract:
This control device is provided with: an in-vehicle communication unit capable of communicating with an on-vehicle control device; and a control unit that controls the in-vehicle communication unit. On the basis of the soundness of a battery for supplying power to the on-vehicle control device and the state of power supply performed by a power generator that is capable of supplying power to the on-vehicle control device, the control unit executes a determination process for determining whether or not to cause the in-vehicle communication unit to transmit a request for execution of an update process of a control program for the on-vehicle control device.
