Abstract:
Provided are a control device, a control method, and a computer program, with which a suitable operation amount can be set in accordance with a change in a control subject. A control device according to an embodiment has a bias generation unit (208) and an extremal value control unit. The bias generation unit (208) imparts a bias to the amplitude of a perturbation signal. The extremal value control unit adds the biased perturbation signal to an operation amount (u) supplied to a process to be controlled and supplies the operation amount (u) to a prescribed evaluation function (y=f(u)), thereby obtaining an evaluation function value (y) indicating an index pertaining to optimization of the process to be controlled and, on the basis of the evaluation function value (y), retrieves an optimal value for the operation amount (u) to be supplied to the process to be controlled.
