Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of controlling the drive force and braking force of a motor while considering the SOC of a battery. This control device controls a rotating electric machine having windings of a plurality of independent systems and is characterized by controlling the rotating electric machine by: a first mode for conducting AC current to the windings of the plurality of systems and generating torque so that a composite magnetic field generated in the windings becomes a predetermined value or more; and a second mode for conducting AC current having a phase difference different from in the first mode to the windings of the plurality of systems and flowing current greater than or equal to the current in the first mode while reducing the composite magnetic field generated in the windings to a value smaller than the predetermined value.
