Abstract:
A control device for an electromagnetic reciprocating pump, said control device including: a current sensor (64) that detects current flowing in an electromagnetic coil (44); a switching element (62) that turns on/off a DC voltage applied to the electromagnetic coil (44); and a computation circuit (61) that generates control signals for turning on/off the switching element (62). The control signals include a first signal that repeatedly, and with a prescribed cycle (ΔTs), turns on the switching element (62) and then turns off the switching element after a prescribed period (ΔTon) has elapsed, and a second signal that, during the prescribed period (ΔTon), turns off the switching element (62) after a detected current value has risen to a prescribed upper limit threshold value, and turns on the switching element (62) after the detected current value has decreased to a prescribed lower limit threshold value. Thus, it is possible to handle different power source voltages while reducing power consumption and suppressing an increase in the temperature of the electromagnetic coil.
