Disclosed is an image-capturing system which is provided with an image-capturing device and a camera platform device which electrically and rotationally drives the image-capturing device, and which performs automatic image-capturing operation by automatic framing. Specifically disclosed are a control device, a control method, the image-capturing device, a program, and the image-capturing system capable of preventing winding around etc. of a cable which can occur when the image-capturing device is rotated while the cable is connected. It is determined whether the cable is connected to a cable connection unit. On the basis of the result of the determination, a rotational driving unit is controlled so that the range of the rotation angle thereof is restricted. This solves the problem.
