Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to a control device, a control method, a program, and a mobile unit that make it possible to efficiently plan a movement route that can be effectively applied while economizing on storage capacity by storing or forgetting (deleting) a past detailed map in accordance with a degree of importance when moving autonomously. When a large-scale route is set, a detailed map is stored or forgotten (deleted) in accordance with a degree of importance to the large-scale route, thereby making it possible to efficiently plan a local route by combining detailed maps that have been stored in the past when planning a local route from a large-scale route that is frequently used. The present disclosure can be applied to an autonomous mobile unit.
