Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the amount of required refrigerant, suppress increases in receiver capacity, and to cause intermittent operation of indoor fans for indoor units in a thermo-off state. A control unit (41) that controls the operation of a multi-type air conditioning system (1) in which a plurality of indoor units (7) are connected to an outdoor unit (2). When the thermostat is turned off during heating and intermittent operation is performed during which an on-off operation is repeated whereby indoor fans (73) for the indoor units (7A, 7B) is operated for a prescribed time and then stopped for a prescribed time, the control unit (41) controls the allocation of indoor units (7A, 7B) to groups being indoor unit groups, so as to: configure a plurality of groups having matching timing of intermittent operation; cause the timing of the intermittent operation to be staggered between groups; and make substantially even the total model capacity for the indoor units (7A, 7B) in a thermo-off state that are included in each group.
