Abstract:
Disclosed are a control device, a control method, a program, and a control system which when performing an image-capturing operation, particularly an automatic image-capturing operation using the result of subject detection within an image to be captured, are capable of realizing an image-capturing operation which is novel, more intelligent, and more valuable for users.
The image-capturing operation is controlled on the basis of the positional relation between the edge region set as the edge region of an image frame and a subject detected within the image frame. The automatic image-capturing operation can be controlled on the basis of a novel and completely new criterion, that is the positional relation between the edge region and the detected subject, so that it is possible to realize the automatic image-capturing operation which is novel, more intelligent, and more valuable for users.
