Abstract:
A control device for controlling electric power consumption in a service-providing system that provides a service via servers furnished to each of a plurality of sites that are geographically dispersed, said control device comprising: a target electric power setting unit that, on the basis of a request pertaining to an increase or decrease of electric power consumption at a site furnished with one of the servers, sets a target electric power value for the site; and a load balance setting unit that, on the basis of the target electric power value, carries out load transferring between the plurality of servers.
