Abstract:
[Problem] To create a control device which assists in making it possible, even when a member of staff is not present in person, to provide customers with a service, such as a product explanation, that is equivalent to or more than that which could be provided if the member of staff were present. [Solution] A control device 1 equipped with: a location information acquisition unit 121 which acquires location information relating to the location of a customer terminal 2, which is terminal used by a customer; a communication instruction reception unit 131 which receives a communication instruction from the customer terminal 2; a communication destination information acquisition unit 122 which acquires communication destination information showing the communication destination corresponding to the location information; and a communication control unit 141 which enables communication between the customer terminal 2 and a communication destination terminal 3 which corresponds to the communication destination information, the control device 1 assisting in making it possible, even when a member of staff is not present in person, to provide customers with a service, via the communication destination terminal 3, such as a product explanation, that is equivalent to or more than that which could be provided if the member of staff were present, and thus satisfying both the desire of a customer to easily receive sufficient product explanation and the desire of a store to improve their service whilst using few staff.
