Abstract:
A control circuit (100) includes a computation unit (110), a determination unit (130), a display control unit (140), an electricity restriction unit (150), and a start-up prohibition unit (160). The computation unit (110) converts each respective parameter that is computed on a per deterioration factor basis of a lithium-ion battery (lithium precipitation) into a battery age. If at least one of the battery ages reaches an upper bound age, the determination unit (130) determines that a battery diagnosis is necessary. If it is determined that the battery diagnosis is necessary, the display control unit (140) displays a diagnosis request message on a display device, recommending the battery diagnosis to a user. If a result of the battery diagnosis is not received even after the commencement of the display of the diagnosis request message, the electricity restriction unit (150) restricts the battery charge-discharge electricity. If the result of the battery diagnosis is not received even after the restriction of the battery charge-discharge electricity, the start-up prohibition unit (160) prohibits the vehicle's drive system from being started up.
