Abstract:
A DR controller (200) that is connected to a server via a network and controls the power demand of a load device is provided with the following: a communication determination unit (220) that determines whether communication between the server and the DR controller (200) is possible; and a control unit (211) that executes one of two operation modes, either a first mode that controls the power demand of the load device in accordance with a predetermined schedule or a second mode that controls the power demand of the load device in accordance with a command signal from the server. In a case where the control unit (211) performs control in the second mode and the communication determination unit (220) determines that communication with the server is not possible, the control unit switches the operation mode to the first mode and performs control.
