Abstract:
It is possible to provide a control device and a control method which can improve
the detection accuracy of the speed of a driven body and stably control drive means.
An encoder signal control unit (25) compares the rise measurement time measured
by a rise edge interval count unit (38) to the time length of the rise cycle of the
latest rise edge stored in a rise interval history unit (39) and outputs the rise
measurement time or the rise cycle which is longer according to the comparison
result. Accordingly, it is possible to accurately predict the cycle of a pulse
signal (36) and approximate it in real time. Thus, according to the cycle of the
pulse signal (36) which has been outputted accurately, it is possible to accurately
calculate the speed of the driven body, increase the detection accuracy of the
speed of the driven body, and stably control the drive means.
