Abstract:
Provided is a control device capable of reducing the consumption power in a control system. A control device contains a master control unit, and at least one slave control unit connected to the master control unit via a communication line. The master control unit contains a circuit for transmitting, to the slave control unit via downlink, a command for not activating the uplink when data transmission from the slave control unit via uplink is completed, and a circuit for transmitting, to the slave unit via downlink, a command for activating the uplink when data from the slave control unit needs to be acquired. The slave control unit contains a circuit for keeping the downlink active and for activating or not activating the uplink in accordance with the command from the master control unit transmitted via downlink.
