Abstract:
A control system 10 is provided with: a packet size analysis unit (14) which analyzes the distribution of packet sizes of traffic input to a virtual network function (VNF); a capacity calculation unit (123) which, on the basis of VNF capacity information indicating, for each packet size, the amount of traffic (bps, pps) that can be processed per unit time by a single VNF, and the distribution of the packet sizes to be input into the VNF, calculates the amount of traffic that the single VNF can process per unit time; and an installation number calculation unit (124) which, on the basis of the amount of traffic the single VNF can process per unit time and the amount of resource that would be required by drawing-in of traffic, calculates the number by which VNFs that are installed should be increased or decreased.
