Abstract:
The present invention aims to precisely estimate position, even when positioning precision is low when positioning using GPS signals or internal sensor output data. For example, the position of the mobile body is estimated on the basis of the relative position between the mobile body and at least two landmarks or at least two transmitters. The position of the mobile body can also be estimated on the basis of the relative position between the mobile body and at least two sections of a single landmark. The position of the mobile body can also be estimated on the basis of the relative position between the mobile body and a single transmitter that has output two signals. The position of the mobile body can also be estimated on the basis of the relative position between the mobile body and the at least one landmark and each of the at least one transmitter.
