Abstract:
The invention relates to a control device (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one operating element (3) which can be actuated by an operator (4), and a symbol carrier (18) which is separate from the operating element (3) for the graphical identification of at least one control element (3). Said symbol carrier (18) for the control element (3) comprises one first graphical symbol and at least one additional graphical symbol (25) which is different from the first and can be displaced between a first position, in which the control element (3) is identified by means of the first symbol (25a), and at least one other position with respect to the at least one control element (3) in which the control element (3) is identified by means of the other symbol (25b).
