Abstract:
Provided is a control device for a power conversion device, the control device being capable of timely detecting a current fault in a power conversion device. The control device for a power conversion device is provided with: a current detection unit which outputs an error signal when a detection value of a current sensor for detecting the current flowing to a power conversion device is greater than a predetermined overcurrent determination value, and on the basis of the error signal, outputs a state detection value greater than a value corresponding to the error signal; and a fault detection unit which receives an input of the state detection value of the current detection unit through a wire, outputs an error signal when the state detection value of the current detection unit is greater than a predetermined overcurrent fault determination value, and detects a fault on the basis of the error signal.
