Abstract:
According to an embodiment, provided is a control device that controls a power converter at one terminal of a DC power transmission system and receives data of DC voltage actually measured at the other terminal via a communication network. The control device is provided with a first control unit, a second control unit, and a drive signal generator. The first control unit includes a first arithmetic unit for generating a first control output on the basis of an estimated value of voltage drop with respect to the other terminal, a voltage command value of the other terminal, and the DC voltage at the one terminal. The second control unit includes a second arithmetic unit for generating a second control output on the basis of the DC voltage and voltage command value of the other terminal. The drive signal generator generates a drive signal for the power converter on the basis of the first control output and the second control output. The response speed of the second arithmetic unit is set in accordance with the transmission delay time of the communication network. The response speed of the first arithmetic unit is faster than that of the second arithmetic unit.
