Abstract:
Provided is a control device of a power converter that can shorten the charging time of a DC line and the recovery time of transmission power. VDCOL control circuits 10A, 10B have differing VDCOL characteristics on the rectifier 3A side and inverter 3B side, respectively, and each VDCOL characteristic has two DC voltage breakpoints, high and low, with the upper limit value of the DC current command value in the section between the high and low breakpoints being set lower on the inverter 3B side than the rectifier 3A side, the low breakpoints of the VDCOL characteristics agreeing, and the upper limit value of the DC current command value in the section from the low breakpoint and below being set lower on the inverter 3B side than the rectifier 3A side.
