Abstract:
A control device for a power-generating source, wherein an HV control unit (10) successively compares (S14) the amount of electric power usable for EV-driving, and the estimated amount of electric power necessary when driving to the destination in EV-driving mode, and configures (S16) the power threshold value to be a low value when the estimated amount of electric power necessary is greater, and configures (S15) the power threshold value to be a high value when the amount of electric power usable is greater. Then the HV control unit (10) switches between the EV-driving mode, in which electric power is supplied from a battery (6), and a vehicle is driven using a motor generator (3) as the power-generating source; and an HV-driving mode that uses an engine (2) as the power-generating source; based on the successive decisions made in the comparisons of the required driving-power value and the power threshold value.
