Abstract:
This control device for a power transmission device includes: a drive gear that is provided to a power transmission path from a drive source to an axle, and to which drive torque is transmitted from the drive source; and a driven gear that can be pulled out in the axial direction of the drive gear, and to which deceleration torque is transmitted from the axle. The drive gear and the driven gear mesh and rotate, thereby transmitting drive torque or deceleration torque from one of the drive gear and driven gear to the other of the drive gear and the driven gear, and the transmission of the drive torque or deceleration torque is blocked as a result of the driven gear being pulled out from the drive gear. When the driven gear is pulled out from the drive gear while the drive gear and the driven gear are meshed and rotating, the drive source is controlled such that the torque difference between the drive gear and the driven gear approaches zero.
