Abstract:
This control device for a vehicle capable of autonomous driving, has a storage unit and a search unit. The storage unit stores information about one or more candidates for a stop spot. The search unit specifies, on the basis of information about geographical inclinations, a first spot at which a braking force required for stopping the vehicle is low, from among the one or more candidates for a stop spot. The search unit generates a stop instruction signal for stopping the vehicle at the first spot during autonomous driving.
