Title:
CONTROL DEVICE FOR ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/131646
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a rotating electric machine comprising a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes a magnetic field core, a magnetic field winding, and a permanent magnet. The magnetic field core includes a boss, a disc, and claw-shaped magnetic poles. The magnetic field winding is disposed between the boss and the claw-shaped magnetic poles. The permanent magnet is disposed between the claw-shaped magnetic poles. The rotor comprises: a d-axis magnetic circuit generated by the magnetomotive force of the magnetic field winding; and a magnet magnetic circuit generated by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet. The d-axis magnetic circuit and the magnet magnetic circuit are at least partially common to each other. During loading of the rotor, the permeance of the d-axis magnetic circuit is less than the permeance of a q-axis magnetic circuit. A control device for the rotating electric machine comprises: a switch circuit that controls energization of the magnetic field winding; and a control unit that, if a magnetic field current is greater than a threshold, increases the switching frequency of the switch circuit compared to when the magnetic field current is equal to or less than the threshold.
